back from peru on my way to JAPAN!

Well it has been a lot of travelling to say the least, starting to feel a little dizzy… I just passed an amazing month in peru working with the artisans down south in lago titicaki making gorgeous new hand made things! And now I am off to Tokyo for design week where we will be exhibiting from oct 29th-nov 3rd… the show is open from 10am-10pm if you are in town please stop by and say hello!!!! Will post some photos of japan in the next week or so!!!!!!

Sydney Designboom Mart 2010

all sorts of new life at the country house!

The latest addition to my family are Thelma and Louise the chickens… did you know that chickens lay eggs because of a chemical reaction with the sun: causing a release of an enzyme from their penail gland forming them to make an egg every 24 hours? Yep that’s right no rooster only 15 hours a day of our dear friend SUN… Oh and did I mention that Louise lays green eggs… a photo of that coming soon!

Back in the USA

I just returned from Peru and have started with the holiday design shows already! People are really loving the new things especially the hand knit alpaca sweaters from peru, fingerless gloves…oh and those adorable star pillows!
